I just got done with all of my national registry stuff, i did my written exam yesterday, got cut off at 70 questions, and passed, and then i had my practicals today, and passed everything first time there as well, i have one piece of advise for those that struggle with it... DONT READ INTO THINGS SO MUCH. i saw alot of people that questioned everything, includiing what they thought may be right. if this is what you are doing, STOP, and you'll dojust fine.-_-
 
Yepp just remeber your abc's, scene safety, and what to do first
 
New protocals? man i just finished the course, the new stuff coming out is changing what EMT-I or now (AEMT) will do.. not basics... dont try to outsmart your common since buddy
 
ok, as we all know, the new standards are coming out, the whole emt-b, emt-i and emt-p is out, and its now going to be emt, aemt, and paramedic. and the AEMT (formally EMT-I) will be able to push a few more drugs, and something is changing for the paramedic. but as far as the EMT (formally known as the EMT-B) nothing changes for what we do, other then dropping the "B" out of our title.
