Hey,
You'd think I would have introduced myself by now, but I seem to have forgotten <_< . My name is Matt, and Im an EMT-B in Michigan. Currently I go to college full time, with majors in History and English.
On the weekends I drive an hour and a half to my job as an EMT-B with a local private ambulance service. We provide BLS, ALS, and Critical Care Units to our county, and do long-distance transports. I'm new to the whole EMS field, though I received my license almost two years ago.
Besides that, I also have an interest in online community development (hence this site
). I also hope to further the development of EMS from the "Ambulance Driver" definition I also hear. Hopefully through community outreach I can help our image, but that's quite a task, and I'm still trying to find a plan of attack.
Hopefully with time the community can grow and discussions can be a bit more diverse. I truly appreciate the contributions members make by posting and telling their colleagues
