HB AO Exam coming up! Would like to hear what people have to say about it. Testing process? Call Volume? BLS VS ALS? Anything kind of feedback would be much appreciated.

It's all BLS. It's a good foot in the door to HB, but even if you are a medic you are expected to operate BLS and keep your mouth shut. Bottom of the totem pole for the FD but if that's your goal it's not bad. I know people who have gotten picked up out of that program

Thank you very much for your reply. I'll make sure to study. I'm interested in working for a fire department more so for experience/resume purposes. Already a volunteer firefighter but would like to advance my skills. Thanks again!
