I have a skills test coming up for a medic position. I will have to run a cardiology mega code and a trauma scenario. I was wondering what the best way to prepare for this would be? I haven't done this type a thing since I was in school, I am going to be rusty for sure.

Any online practice scenarios I can print off?

Thanks

You can trying talking to your instructor and see if he or she will let you use the equipment to practice up. Also you can pay for the practice day at your skills testing site. The people i knew who took their skills highly suggest paying for the practice session

youtube has some decent videos of people doing them nremt style. also learn those sheets.

Ok thanks. There are not any practice sessions before the actual test so I guess I will just have to be the best prepared as I can.

Practice the skill sheets, watch the full YouTube videos, and also try to have a paramedic friend run through the scenarios with you.

I always found myself with a skill sheet and just practicing the motions, pretending to be utilizing the equipment but really just loooking like a fool playing with air. Say everything out loud.
