It depends, especially with over 78 million EMTs in the state of California.....

It really does vary. There were some companies I'd be able to make contact with if I didn't hear anything within 2 weeks. There were others that have a system where you don't get through unless they want to talk to you. I don't think it's too much different up North, but for reference I'm in SoCal.
Keep at it. It will happen.
