How long could I wait to take the NREMT?

I finished my state certification and NREMT skills test a while ago and have been unable to take the NREMT and finish my certification because of time and location difficulties. So how long are you still able to take the NREMT after having finished the EMT-B class? I'm finally in a position that I can study up and take it but I'm worried that it's too late. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
 
You have 2 years to test, but if you do not pass the written with in the first year, you will have to take both the writtin and practical again in the 2nd year.
 
Thank you very much! I appreciate the help and now I can put my nose to the grindstone for some studying and finally pass this thing.
