Ok so I have been an EMT for 2 and1/2 years now, and let my NREMT lapse while on bed rest for my pregnancy. My state cert. is about to be up and I have no clue how to keep that one from expiring as well. I want to retake the National Registry, but every time I try to login on the website, it keeps telling me that my login is invalid and I can't find where I wrote that stuff down 2 years ago. please help.

What State are you from? Some States like Pennsylvania allow you to complete all the required continuing education for recertification on-line. PA operates its own Learning Management System for on-line con-ed that is free to all State certified providers.
Perhaps your State has something similar. Visit your State's EMS office website or call them.

Which state are you in? Some states require NREMT for initial certification and don't care if it lapses when it comes time to recertify through the state. Others require concurrent NREMT certification for state certification.
