Hey y'all....well I have few days working out in our ER that is not attached to the hospital, so I have some free time...
Someone tell me....
DID I MISS ANYTHING!!!????!!!!??
Lets see...a quick recap for me...
Have had what seems like a bazillion tests to figure out what the heck is wrong with me, and are still waiting on the "oh so special does things on his own freaking time" cardiologist to read the holter monitor so those results can be forwarded. I swear there is a whole semester in Med School and all they do is recite "I am a Doctor, I am Special..." all day! And finally they believe it!!
Only thing we know for sure is my thyroid is, well basically not functioning, but WAIT...the damn radiologist hasn't dictated his final report on the scan yet....And if thats it, that is great, since that is OH So fixable!
Had an allergic reaction to the contrast, to which the Nuc Med guys say "Well your not allergic to Iodine are you?" when asked if the reaction I was beginning to have could have been from the contrast. UMM HELLO!!! THAT is not a question you ask someone AFTER they have taken the stuff and you have sent them on their Merry Way.....And according to the ER Doc (who incindentally looks like she definantly could have paid her way through med school by stripping!! - and not an ugly stripper either)...it could be "a while" before all the contrast is out of my system, so I could very well end up back in her bed again (HA! The ER)
but other than that, life is just fan-tab-ulous!!!! Guess I should get some work done this morning....I am sure the nurses will be looking for their charts soon...
So...tell me..
