Heroic EMT’s Rescue Residents At Assisted Living Center

Two emergency medical technicians with Anderson’s MedShore ambulance service were in the right place at the right time for residents at an assisted living center.

Around 2 am, the two emt’s were heading to a call about a shooting when they drove past the Faith, Hope and Charity Retirement Home on Coe Street early Saturday morning and noticed smoke coming from the facility. Donna Wyles and Jason Taylor then sprung into action and rushed into the smoke filled building and started rescuing residents.

Good for them, but of course I have to ask... what about the shooting call?

maybe they are just ultra-EMT's. ran to the fire, yanked them out, abandoned them, rushed to the gsw, and saved everyone

yep, full agreement. I guess smoke inhalation isn't a concern, especially among the elderly? Hope they don't get TOO chastized (sp?) for this, but they're probably gonna get at least a call into the office.

all while their theme songs were playing in the background and while wearing their capes.
