Okay, here is my scenario. I passed course completion in December 2010. Took NREMT in January and failed. I am studying again, and want to get into this, because i was given a solid by my father in law. Who pretty much told me " get your EMT cert and i will guarantee you a written test within the county fire dept. " in which is a deal of a life time. Just to get the option of getting a written is long and hard process in itself. Anyhow i wanted to know if there are any free testing sites or better smalled books other than my big textbook that i currently own. Thanks in advance.

Take your text book and cut all the pages out. Put 3 or four chapters each in a notebook (helps if you own a three hole punch). Then take a note book with you everywhere. You go to the gym you get on a treadmill and you work your way through a notebook. You go to the park you take a note book. Your sitting at the doctors office you read a notebook. Just read the text book all the info is there. Break it down so you don't feel so overwhelmed by the size of the book. If you read it you'll pass then you can spend the rest of your career dragging hoses around while you slowly forget it all.

that tip is great. i am going to try that. also, i just printed some test questions from some online site my buddy suscribed too. theres like 100 each for each of the NREMT catagories, would you recommend studying off that too?

Use your text book. Nothing better than what you used during class for review. My workbook in class was perforated, so I took each section and put it in a three-ring binder and studied from there.

I don't rely on third party testing/review sites. I know they mean well, but I study what is/was presented in class.
