help with drug calc.

this is for any paramedic that can help. my dad is taking a paramedic course here in kentucky. and so far he is doing really well in it. he is a emt right now. but one thing he is having trouble with is the drug calculations, where you have to figure the amount of meds going thru the pump to determine how many mkg the patient is reciving per min. is there any other formula you can use or can you make this any easier for him? ill show him this post after some replies are made, and ill try to explain it to him , but im a first responder myself and this is over my head. thanks in advance for any help. 466
