Hopefully you're just struggling with what I am, which is that there aren't as many options as I was initially told...
I was just planning on working as on ER Tech while I continued with school (working towards med school) and my full time job so that I could maintain my license/skills but all the ER's near me now want CNA's or Paramedics or additional Phlebotomy certs. instead of EMT B's-
Your other options are still private ambulance, dispatch with very minimal additional training, hospital aide, Public ambulance as long as its not in cook county (me) or a very close suburb that requires you to be both a firefighter and an EMT or paramedic- unless that's what you want in which case Elgin is hiring .
