Future EMT

I have been reading this forum on and off for a little while now. I have got a lot of insight from you folks and hve enjoyed reading about your views and experiences. I am active duty in the Army and plan on starting EMT-B classes next month and plan on going to school to become a paramedic after I get out of the Army. Can anyone tell me what hourly pay I can expect in the city of Atlanta and the city of Tampa? Also if anyone know's the pay of both metro areas would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot help you on pay for EMT positions in the Tampa or Atlanta...however, I can tell you that Tampa has a lower cost of living and with the aging demographic has a fairly large health care industry for a city of our size.

Try looking at indeed.com for a range of salary ideas. It will not be exact, but it can give you a feel for the area and salary ranges. Also check job postings for those metros and see what they are offering.
