From Russia with greeting.

Please, tell me ,what is the differens betwen ALS end BLS ?

BLS... Basic Life support - Lowest level of EMT...
ALS... Advance Life suuport - Feldsher/Paramedic/Physician level

First and foremost, it is BLS that gives the foundation of ALS training. Ask any paramedic, registered nurse, or physician. It is good BLS skills that can help the patient to survive until ALS can be started. Lets all remember that it is good foundation that leads us to the right direction.

OK,Just now i realised. Interesting end useful. In our country each paramedic(feldsher) end ALS end BLS as a one person.

ALS is advanced life support, that means that the person has gone to school for more advanced training and theory. Part of these classes include but not limited to anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and advanced airway management. These folks also must have a set amount of hours in the classroom setting, clinical hours in the acute hospital setting and in the field for their internship. Besides these folks taking their classrooms exams and final exams to pass the program they also must pass a state or national exam in order to get their license to practice as a paramedic. Hope this helps! :)

Anna... Is it mandatory for EMT-P in states to have a bachelor degree?

A bachelor's degree is not mandatory for EMT-P in the states.

There are associate (2 year) degree programs that culminate in EMS technology degrees & will prepare the student to sit for the EMT-P exam, but EMT-Ps can also obtain their certification by completing a program that prepares them to sit for the EMT-P exam but does not result in a degree; only a certification.

And I'm not sure I would equate paramedic with "physician level", Bongy. There is a huge difference.

Thanks for answer...
By the way - in a PRE-hospital setting there is not much difference between physician and well trained CCRN,EMT-P... But I still will be a doctor at last..

What government beauro is responsible for EMS in Russia? Or is run by a private entity?

Are there different levels of paramedics?

What training is required?

What skills are allowed?

Not privete, medical departemant of goverment. There ,s no levels of paramedics. We are learned 3 years at our schools and took exams. WE are trained almost in all manipulations of your ALS level.
