From Newyork to Connecticut

So I'm currently in Newyork Emt-B was interested in going to work in conneticut due to the fact of they use Emt-I. So was curious if someone had insight on there typical pay how long is the schooling ? Would I have to redo my Emt-B course in conneticut or just take an exam and it would transfer ? Highest paying places in conneticut ? Thanks.
