I'm a long time lurker and have been searching through the threads and have found the typical area EMS companies. I am newly certified and have put in applications at Careflite, Acadian, Guardian and MedicOne(I did interview there and it went well). I haven't heard anything yet from the other 3. The only problem with MedicOne is it's so far from my house and the cost of gas and 3 12hr shifts would make the budget uncomfortably tight. I live in North Fort Worth. I'm not opposed to driving 1+ hours if there was a possibility of 24hr shifts. Any suggestions for anything West or even the Denton area?

Is AMR not hiring for Dallas or Arlington right now? They are another option

They are in Farmer Branch but not in Arlington...Which is the same driving distance as MedicOne. Any idea how AMR's scheduling is?

Unfortunately not that area. I know Hunt County runs 24 or 48 hour shifts. But not the rest of that area
