FL EMT/Medics?

Ex-FL medic. Worked Numerous counties!

There are no real medics in my county. Just firemen.

Martin County.

Grew up in Brevard County, where it is no better.

i work in seminole county at a clinic. but there are very few county ems sevices. most services in florida are fire and ems requiring you to be a fire fighter. there are a few like lee and polk county. in central florida you as a non fire fighter have the choice of rural metro which does ift and limited 911 in orlando. american which is ift in seminole osceola and orange county or health central based outta health central hospital that covers 911 in ocoee and some sorrounding areas and covers universal. other than that its all fire in central.

Never worked as an EMT there but I grew up in Lee County and lived in Martin County for a few years. Lee county has a pretty good ems program.

I worked in Indian River County, Brevard County, Orange and Lake-Sumter.

Dang ol dang.
I'm another Brevard County boy.
Worked for First Flight as a Comm Spec, and CCH-ED as a tech before moving to Jersey to work as a Medic.

Debating moving back. I miss fire.....

I am thinking about moving to West Palm Beach. I don't want to be a FF. There are a couple of IFT companies down there I think.
