First day of clinicals was yesterday!

Hey all! I had my first day of clinicals and loved it! My preceptor was great, he let me get my hands dirty and actually learn, other students just hung back and watched. Anyone have any advise to get the most out of clincals? Its only (4) 8 hour shifts, so not a lot of time in my opinion, just want to get every bit of training/learning out this round of class.

Network yourself. Find a nurse that can tolerate you, ask to shadow them. They'll let you take vitals(most likely??) makes their job easier. Be respectful, and For the love of the sweet lord baby jesus, DO NOT BE ON YOUR PHONE.
