Firefighter dies after being run over by other firefighters' car

so was the alcohol on the firefighter laying down or the ones in the car? It seems that it could go either way, 1. Who would run over something that large in that small of a car and not stop and 2. who lays in the middle of the road at 0100?

So they didn't just clip him they fully ran over him in a tiny car. So was that the COD or was he dead before hand and just laying there? Hopefully those toxicology reports and autopsy reveal what really happened.

Even if its dark, even if you're drunk, the second article suggests another driver saw him in the road from a distance. I have a sneaking suspicion there was some malicious intent. I mean, out of 7 guys if you're missing one wouldn't you notice before you left? And why would you drive 2 miles before you decide to turn back for what you "thought was an animal". If you actually believed it was an animal, why even turn back?
I'll be periodically looking for any news updates on this, hopefully they come up with something definitive.

Yeah it does sound like some sort of foul play. Good thing these guys aren't out there helping the public.... oh wait...

The Scene Is Never Safe.

That's so sad.

Don't drink and drive.
