Fire Academy Online

Soo it has been 2 years and i let my cert expire. I have to take the EMT-B again and did not wanna take it at my local community college again...I saw this site that claims you can do online learning for the lecture portion of the class, and then you have to go to Ft. Worth Texas for a week to complete clinical rotations and the basic practical. The website is: http://www.trainingdivision.com/EMT.asp Has anyone heard of this place? Is the school recognized by the NREMT? Any feedback would be great.

It is an academy type program. I do believe it is recognized by the NREMT, you might want to check with Texas EMS and NREMT.


I am wondering though, have you been active in the past two years? As well, NREMT will allow you to retest if you just take a refresher if it has been just past two years.. you might check and see, in lieu of taking a whole course.

Thanks for the reply...Yeah i already called NREMT and they said i have to take the full class again, as i have not been active...It sucks starting from square one again, but hey, I LOVE THIS S**T!
