Hi all! Been reading this forum for a week or two now, and learned so much from everyone's posts.
I'm currently a EMT-B student with clinicals at hospitals coming up pretty soon. I was wondering, what is the best way to ask the preceptors for more time outside of clinicals?
The reason I ask is that I know looking for an ED Tech job is tough, and I wanted to garner more experience while the people at the clinical sites know who I am.
Although I know that finding an ED Tech job is tough, can someone tell me the difficulty of finding one in Chicago? Also, can I basically apply for all CNA positions also (although I'd much rather be doing E-Med)?
