FDNY Question

Hi. I passed the NYS EMTB test in August 2010. From Aug to late 2010, I contacted the FDNY to register for their EMT class. I did register, however I have not heard back from them or received anything in the mail. A friend of mine who is already a FDNY EMT told me if I remember correctly, that I should've received something in the mail from them. Does anyone know exactly what I should've received or if I should try calling again to re-register.

FYI, I wasn't giving any number or received any placement number or anything like that.

Thanks so much buddy. Just called & I am on the list but the FDNY was going on I believe the civil exam list or something to that nature. I was on some provisional list she stated. Anyway, she said the next opening is going to take place about July to Sept. Thanks!!!
