Does anyone have the skinny on the next FDNY emt hirings.
Today I tried the #, (718) 999 2169/2179. Both numbers answered by same person.
They told me they are not giving out any dates. Two weeks ago they said middle of September 2010.
I guess they have been getting too many pesky calls from people like me.
Someone at a private had heard there was supposed to be a class middle of July, but it got cancelled.
Although I am on the list, my interest is more that jobs in the privates will open up if FDNY hires.
