Im waiting to hear about an interview with EVAC in Daytona. Does anyone know what it's like to work there, is it hard to get hired or what their turn over rate is?
 
Its a county third service, they have tons of applicants for the number of openings. Turn over is not bad many folks there with 10 plus years, some with 20.
 
One of my co-workers (a medic) just quit working there after only 2 months and came back begging for his old IFT job. He says they just work you like a dog and ignore your complaints. But I wouldn't mind getting hired there, as I really need a job with more action.
 
Ive worked private ambulance and IT SUCKED!! Are they 911 based? Are they picky when selecting people they want to hire?
