ER Tech Salaries

New member, and I was just wondering what ER Techs make hourly? Have my eye on changing from Firefighter to ER Tech due to injuries. Any help will be appreciated.

Depends on where you're located. Around here (LA/OC) they make between $14-20hr. Just depends on what hospital you work at.

Also depends if you are an EMT or Paramedic. Around my area 12 - 25 hr.

Thought about RN? Think its in the 30-40 range in the US (im in europe thou).

Depends on level in the Abq metro. 12-22 an hour depending on which system and level

I've heard $10 and some change up to around $20 here in TN. I just got my AEMT and am trying to get on at one of our hospitals, I believe the pay for them is 13-15, which would just be lovely.

I believe the idea is that Hospitals in Rural or low population areas will generally pay less, from my experience.
However if you go to vegas or SD, you can get from 18 up, but they are much more difficult to get (as ive been told by everyone)
Rural spots you can nab pretty easy tho, get experience, then jump to the better ED.
