Emts in emergency rooms

im think of moving to Richmond, Va my sister is an RN in an emergency room there she say there are emt's working there also was thinking of applying also was just wondering what everyone thought about working in one?

Working in the ER at least one where as a tech your functioning as an EMT and not as a CNA or PCT and assuming you have free reign you will do more,see more,learn more,be respected more and without a doubt make more. Nuff said?
