Just finished my first 8 hrs in the ER... Well I had so much fun I stayed for 12 !!!
Early on it was mostly elderly due to it not being a trauma hosp. Then the narcan pt , psych pt in cuffs with incarseatitus. Then the code that we worked for 10 min but lost that battle. The drunk strapped to the cot with a huge laceration covered in blood.... How could I leave ?!?!
After all the school and hrs of studying it finally paid off !!!!
