emt under 21?

It all depends on where you live and what kind of service you are trying to get hired onto.

Around here, I don't believe you can drive for any of the private services under the age of 21 or 23 due to insurance costs. The 911 services, operated by the counties, don't have age limits (that I know of), however I imagine it would still be difficulted to be hired on most places that young with no experience. I think it all depends on the person and what their plan is as far as advancing to paramedic goes.

I was hired by a 911 service last year at 19 with no experience, but I was in an Associate's Degree Paramedic program at the time as well. I'm now 20, got my degree and recently certified as a paramedic, and still working for the 911 service :)

I just took a CEVO class. EVOC is better. It has a driving component that CEVO doesn't.
