EMT License Renewal

Hello,
So as I mentioned before, My EMT License expired in January of 2007. As of this week I've completed the entire EMT Course as required by the State of California after the license has expired for more then 24 months. My question is, would I need to also take the NREMT?

Contact your LEMSA and ask them.
 
I did. The person that picked up the phone was useless. She said she thinks so but is not sure... I'll call again and see if I get a different person.

find someone in your county to ask, because different counties have different rules... down here, you need nremt to get your county card, but after you get your county card you can let your nremt expire
