you said you started as an mrt. what's an mrt?

Does CT have an EMT-I? I was looking to move there over the summer and when I called the state office they told me I would have to down grade to a EMT-B because they had B's and medics only.
 
darn. Stupid state office. I was really looking to move to New Haven over the summer but didnt want to drop down to a EMT-B, I wonder if its because Im an I-85 not a I-99 that they told me that. Who knows.
