So I just found out that the EMT class that I wanted to get into over the summer is full. Not only that, but the waiting list is full too.

Anyone know of other EMT classes I can take over the summer? Or where I could look to see if I can find another? I was really hoping not have to do this over the following semester.

Also, this is probably based on the ambulance corps, but I just joined one as a trainee so that they would pay for my training. Do you think this will affect my membership since I won't be going into training as soon as I expected?

You should be fine. It isn't your fault that the class was full. In any case, talk to your chief officer.

Thanks. I'm going in tomorrow for training, so I'll just let them know then and see what they want me to do.

You can pay for NCTI which is AMR's own school it is a bit pricey but the instructers are very great i think there is one around your area either that or if you want to go the cheap way i would just find a Junior College around your area the cost should only be close to $100 for the class and maybe $200 for the books with NCTI its $1050 in california for the class but the books are free

What's NCTI? Will the state pay for that? That's what I was banking on for the EMT class.

Anyway, thanks for the response.

NCTI is a private school no the state wont pay for that unfortunatly but its a great school, i am about to take my didatic final

Thank you very much I am sitting at a 99.9% in the class but if you score any less than a 75% on the test then you fail the class good thing i have not gotten below a 80% on any test but yet i am still nervous :(
