I'm just curious as to how much depts pay around there for an emt-b with no expierence. and what's the chance of actually getting hired?

These are rough numbers... We have members pretty much of three of the 4 companies in seattle king sno county area.
AMR is around 15 starting (according to the rumors)
Trimed starts at 12.50 ish an hour.
Rural Metro I have no idea
and Falck, the new ones in town start around 13.50
AMR has the best pay. and they are union so take that how you like. (and some rumors are they are annoying some people)
Trimed pretty much tells people at the interview that they dont expect you to stay long.
Dont know anything about rural metro
And falck is too new to know much. But a lot of rumor is that people love working there. And some of the members here impression of them is poor. Other members here seem to like them.
All in all. Pay is not great. I have no idea how progression goes in any of the companies. All of them will hire with no experience. Trimed is currently hiring. AMR does not seem to be hiring. Falck Just hired... and I have no idea about rural metro.
EDIT: Till you get your state cert you will probably be working cabulances or something till then.
