I am currently a student at Butler university, and getting my EMT-B certification over the summer. I am hoping to work part time over the school year, and full time over next summer, as an EMT in Indy. However I am not sure what to look for in a position-what differentiates EMS groups from one another? Apart from pay, what should I be looking for in a company I apply for? Looking online, the two main groups I see in Indy are Priority One and Indianpolis EMS-does anyone have any experience with either of these groups? Any information you deem useful when looking for an EMT job would be useful.
