EMT-B Job Outlook

EMT LIFE,

I'm a 20 YOM EMT-B living in CT currently I have been looking for work now since i got licensed Oct.2011. I have been putting in numerous hours of service at a local volly service since Dec.2011. I have had numerous job oppurtunities to no avail. I know that im under 21 so that doesn't help, my driving record is so-so. Any thing i can do to boost up my resume for potenial employers? & how did some of you EMT's get your 1st Job? I'm starting paramedic school in one month, & would like to have a EMT job to gain even more exper.

Wait til you're 21. As has been mentioned in several other posts, most services will not be able to insure you to drive until you reach 21. A "so so" driving record doesn't help.

Try working on site ems jobs at concerts, theme parks etc.
