EMT-B Cert. For MAINE??

Hiya,

I'm recently certified in Mass but will be moving to Maine soon. I was trying to find a list of certification requirements by state but nothing turned up.

So yeah, does Maine take the National Cert. of do they have their own State Cert? If it's state, would I have to re-take the Maine EMT-B course to work in Maine?

You may want to call them. I have heard that you must have the nr now to license as a basic or medic in Maine. I could very well be wrong but that was what a Maine ems employee told me last year.
