EMS Summer Jobs?

Hey all,

I'm looking for summer jobs in EMS. I'm in nursing school now, and it's absolutely exhausting--particularly mentally. I have a break over the summer, and I'm looking to do something fun. I love EMS, so I figured, "Why not try a summer EMS job?" I have an urge to get out there, leave my little town, and see what's out there in the world...in other words, having to travel would not only be okay, it'd be preferred!

I know that only being around for a few months would probably make most employers pass over me. But I'd be really excited to get out there, work in a different system, and just get a change of scenery!

There are tons of summer camps that hire EMTs to work on call under the supervision of a RN. For instance I worked here last summer : www.pondo.org

I had the plum perfect one, first aider/lifeguard/dockhand at a lakeside boat and paddleboard rental by a San Bernardino mountains lake. Lasted all summer, paid squat but enough for food gas and rent of a room.
Of course I was 19.....had to watch the plesiosaurs.
