EMS in Columbus, MS

I'm an EMT in Little Rock, AR. My fiance' is in the Air Force and we are being stationed in Columbus, MS next June. I'm trying to get my EMT in Mississippi but I need a prospective employer. My research, which I think is pretty good, is getting me no where. Anyone from that area know anything about the EMS services in that area to Starkville? I'm starting to think I'm coming to the end of the road for my career and it makes me really sad every time I think about it.
