I currently live in Arizona and will be completing my Medic in a year with hopes to move to Colorado (Denver area) and work up there. In Arizona its very easy to get a job as a medic (you're hired before the interview I've heard), but I can't seem to find much info on Colorado... Can anyone give me a few ideas? Will it be difficult to move as a newbie medic and land a job?

Thanks in advance :)

Chris

I live in Colorado and no it's not hard at all to get a job in the EMS field out here it's farily easy.

Heh, really? I spent 6 months looking for work in CO before settling for work in TX. Oh well, at least I get to work at a higher scope and pay grade than I could in CO... Then again, if PPS hadn't been selling out at the time I probably would have gotten a job with them, sicne they interviewed me.

I applied in AZ 7 months ago and didn't get anything and now I am in Co and still haven't gotten anything, I do have an interview tomorrow with a volunteer company. Maybe it is easier for medics instead of EMT-B's.
