im taking ems-I this semester can anyone tell me what to expect or any tips? thanks in advance
I've never heard of EMS-I, is that the same as EMT-B where you live?

so you are taking your EMT-I. the first bit of the course will be review or basic. then you will dive into more background stuff, a and p, patho, etc if it is a good program

Ah i see, i was confused by your spelling error.
You are in an I/85 state so you will be learning up to that curriculum. Some more in depth A&P, basic pharmacology, more focused assessments. You will also be learning some ALS skills such as IV's/fluid administration, med administration, some advanced airways.
The I/85 scope varies from state to state but thats the gist of it.
