EMS for Children

Today, May 17, 2006 is National EMS for Children Day. This is a day set aside during EMS Week when we and the community around us take time to focus on the specific needs and important differences when dealing with Children and emergencies.

What do you do for National EMS-C day?

I posted some suggestions for EMS crews based on what I and others in my service have done. But what are your organizations or companies doing, if any thing?

First time I ever heard of this in my 30 year career, EMS week is just barely getting recognized as it is, since it is also National Hospital Week as well. Since nurses week was last week, seems EMS week could be during a time, not so much medical PR at once....
