EMS Call Statistics by Year

I'm considering righting a paper for an econometrics class that attempts to establish a relationship between national EMS calls in a given year and several economic indicators. Problem is, I'm having trouble finding a data set that lists the number of EMS calls nationally in a given year. Does anyone know of one that exists?
 
JEMS and Firehouse Mag do a yearly Run survey but not every Dept reports...send me a private message or or post exactly what you want here as a list...I am sure we can help.

Nationwide data will be tough to get because there is a national run database but only if each service reports it to their state office then the state office reports it to the National data base.
A good place to start is the JEMS (Journal of EMS Magazine) National run survey and Fire House Magazine National Run survey. They each produce a once a year annual report of departments that submit the info and break the calls down by state and type.
