Employment Opportunities for an EMT-B

I am currently an EMT-B student in Texas and I trying to find out what actual places I might be able to seek employment once I am certified.

I know that there are 911-services, private services, ER's, and opportunities at Criminal Justice facilities.

Actual names of places would be helpful but even just more types of places for me to look into would be great.

Actual names won't come without knowing your actual location.
 
Employment options for us EMT-B's, especially with little to no experience, are limited right now. I discovered this after I finished my training, starting with the information that there is a flood of EMT-B's on the market right now. There are some transfer ambulance services that may be a way to get a foot in the door, though. Where in Texas?

I need to get hired by a hospital which is proving to be substantially more difficult than I was led to believe and I've got an associates degree and a bachelor's degree on top of my EMT-B cert.
 
Dallas, Ft. Worth, Arlington, Granbury.. Or even more rural areas like Cleburne, Tolar, Midlothian..
