Durham College (Canada) Application Question

I have recently been accepted into the Durham College paramedic program. Part of the application process involves a vulnerable sector check. I do not have a criminal record, however I do have a peace bond which I received after being involved in an incident in the past. All criminal charges laid were dropped as the incident was a misunderstanding, but at the time I did sign a peace bond. Will this prevent me from being able to attend school, and further will this prevent me from getting hired down the road?

Contact the school and ask also contact your state or local EMS office and ask.

Have you gotten it done yet?

where I am (east coast) we can walk into the rcmp station (or city police) and get it within a couple of hours to days.

If anything does show up you should contact an attorney to see what your options are.

I am currently in the process of doing it, I`ll look into these things, thanks a lot
