When you have 25+ ambulances on 12 hour shifts, you may not get runs.
When I used to work in Indianapolis (where I was talking about before): I had co workers who never delivered a baby, and 1 medic who averaged 6 per year.
I had about 40% ROSC (on workable arrests) including 2 out of 3 arrests in a row, and 3 out of 4 in the same day. and friends who had worked 20 arrests a year for multiple years but had never had one ROSC.
Firefighter friend had worked 3 years, 24 on/48 off without a working fire (even a car fire) on a busy city department.
Runs are doled out by the run gods; and sometimes you get them sometimes you don't. some times you are a white cloud other times a s**t magnet
