I recently was certified as an EMT an I am trying to find work with eventual goal of FDNY. Unfortunately I have 2 violations on my licence. 1 is for a cell phone use and the other is a left lane in a commercial truck ticket, That one has 2 points on it. The driver safety classes reduce your points but do not remove the violations.
Has anyone gotten a job or FDNY for that matter with violations on their licence or am I completely screwed for the next three years until they are removed form my record?
