He was the pioneer of modern Cardiovascular Surgery with notable inventions such as the LVAD and several revascularization devices currently used in PTCA procedures. He was also one of the few surgeons in the OR in his 90's. A remarkable man and surgeon, he will be missed..............................

Many of the cardiac surgical techniques that are performed today came from this truly brilliant man.

I owe a lot to that man. Without his innovation my VSD might not have been repaired and the complications I developed might have killed me. Thanks for posting this. It seems to be a dark day today, Tony Snow has passed away.
