So I was riding today covering the part of town that my brother and his wife live in.....My brother's wife is-----or should I say WAS four days overdue this morning....already dilated to three but contractions had stopped for the moment........They went to the dr.s office for a "checkup" and got sent home-well my brother called me and stated-we just got sent home but Alyssa is having contractions so be prepared-She fell asleep about two pm and woke up at five thirty tellin my brother that her water had broken.........Needless to say my brother's clunker wouldn't start so they had to call 911-we end up responding and for some reason I don't realize the address-when we get there she is screaming in pain and we get her movin-IV en route and about 6 pm I DELIVERED MY BABY NIECE- AVA MADILYNN- 6 lbs 2.6 oz. She was beautiful..... But honest to God I hope I am never on that end of a delivery again.

thank you-it was quite an experience-i'm on again tomorrow-for once I am hoping for a quiet day....I so shouldn't have just said that....

Congrats man, glad your niece is healthy, and I am glad you remembered rule number one about delivering babies: Do not drop the baby...
