Deer Stew

Has anybody had deer stew? That stuff is good. You put the regular vegetables and seasoning in it and add deer chunks. Slow cook the mixture in a slow cooker. Serve and enjoy.

I would hope you slow cook it in a slow cooker. ^_^

But no, I have not had it. And I live in a place absolutely infested with deer. I just haven't taken up hunting.

My partner brought in a crock pot full of venison stew last week. I baked a loaf of sourdough bread and we had a couple of great meals. Yum.

Only wish I wasn't at work so I could have had a beer with it.

I tried that. It cost me a vehicle. Kind of expensive for a bowl of deer stew.

Deer is absolutely delicious . So is pheasant if anyone gets the chance to try that as well.
