I'm trying to come up with an acronym for a drill I'm putting together. It's going to be for multiple volunteer agencies responding to a tornado. Some key words to think about are:
Multiple agencies
Multiple organizations
Tornado
Response
Exercise
Drill
Volunteer
Emergency

I'm looking for something like PADRE: Passenger Airline Disaster Response Exercise

Thoughts?

Sent using the Tapatalk app!

MATE Multiple agency tornado exercise. Not the best but I'll try and think of some more at work today.

may not make sense but would be funny on a radio: more for a real Tornado, cause that is what the witnessing crews are thinking and probably saying.

I did once while talking on radio about confirming a page; and witness a semi t-bone a car "dispatch Medic 1; clear on page and en SH*T!!!!"

lol I've heard some of the "good ole boys" let some real inappropriate stuff out over the air.

I live in the south, and every once in a while some of the older guys will say something over the radio that they really regret letting slip.

You live in the south? Homeboy, please!

Oh oh oh! I have it!!!!

TORPEDO--Tornado Operations Response Planning Exercise-Drill Only.

Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

You have to admit that even though it's long, cumbersome and repetitive, it is awesome!

GITBATH

Getting It Together: Before and After the Tornado Hits

That's the basic concept, yes?

Everything before is what might be and all about preparedness. Everything after is working with what is and adapting to it based on those preparations.
