I know, I know... this has been talked about a lot. But it's still very confusing due to the fact that I keep reading different things... I've been reading over and over on the internet about reciprocity. Trying to move back to FL next year (hopefully) and will have out-of-state medic cert. I've read on here as well as firehouse.com re: reciprocity and how hard it is to transfer out-of-state certs into FL.
On here, it seems like the chances of transfering my NC medic license to FL is definitely possible. But on firehouse.com, a guy told me not to even waste my time trying to transfer a NC medic cert to FL. According to the FL DOH's website, I can take the FL exam and get my FL cert as long as I pass. I've received some good info from someone on here a few days ago saying that I'm good to go, as long as I was Nat. Reg. So I'm sorry if some folks on here feel like they are repeating themselves. My bro-in-law has his FL medic cert and says its easier to transfer to FL as a medic if you aren't Nat. Reg. I'm so confused!
But then I read on another thread that I'd be wasting my time trying to transfer.
